Minimalism and Snow

Hello! I hope everyone has had a nice Easter weekend.
Where I was (Northern Austria) we had snow a plenty, which meant that I could do plenty of walks with my camera. I have already mentioned the name Olivier Du TrĂ© (http://www.olivierdutre.com) in a previous post, but I will mention him again. I really, really like minimalist design, whether that's architecture, sculpture, photography or even food, so I came across Olivier's website and struck an instant awe to his work. So I therefore thought I might give it a go!

What works really well with minimalistic photography is snow and clouds - they are the perfect backdrops for any photo. So For the next couple of photos I went out looking for the perfect photo opportunities. On Easter Sunday we had had about 10/15 cms snow fall over night, which meant that the only footprints one could see were those of hares, deer etc. So there I am bulldozing my way through the snow looking out for the perfect photoshots.

So what do you think?

And finally (not really minimalist but still worth a post):

Enjoy!!
