France (Val de Loire)

Hello!

I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Today's post is on France or, to be more specific, the Loire Valley. Last Autumn I went with the family to various castles scattered across the region, whilst staying at a rented townhouse in the centre of the region - giving us easy access to the castles we most wanted to see. The photos are a collection of the various locations we went to; I tried to vary them as much as possible. It was the first time I have ever been to Loire Valley and what suprised me most was how rural everything was, from the towns to the people. The best part probably has to go to the food (eg. pâté, saucisson sec etc.), which I couldn't get enough of.

Again short and sweet, so now the photos:

Some of these you may have seen in a previous post.
However I still hope you enjoy them!

  1. I enjoyed your pictures. Have you ever submitted your photos to a photography contest? I have just updated my blog to include photography contests that you can submit your photos to:

  2. Thank you very much for your comment Denise. The only contest I have submitted one of my photos to (Favourite Photos 2) was a school photography competition - unfortunately I didn't quite make it, however it has made me think about taking part in more photography competitions. I will look at your blog with great interest. Thanks again!
